About the role
As an Assurance Staff I, you will work with the Assurance team to perform detailed verification procedures necessary for examinations of our clients' financial statements, including both public and private client engagements. You will work under the direction of a manager or senior analyst, benefiting from hands-on learning, on-the-job training, and collaboration with partners and staff at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed verification procedures for client financial statement examinations.
- Work on both public and private client engagements.
- Collaborate with managers, senior analysts, and team members at all levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting or an equivalent program from an accredited college or university.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Hybrid position with in-office requirements; must reliably commute to assigned office location and client sites.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Qualifications
- Completed or near completion of minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state of your assigned office location.
- Completed 150 academic credits or a master’s degree in accounting or an equivalent program.
- Final graduation date between December 2026 and September 2027.
- Strong academic track record (minimum GPA: 3.0).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
