2027 Associate Electronics Engineer/Electronics Engineer
This position is located at our Aeronautics Sector in San Diego, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, or Palmdale, CA. Relocation assistance may be available. A Top Secret clearance is required to start. Travel is expected, up to 10% of the time.
About the role
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Avionics Integration organization and will research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including:
- Radar and radiation detection equipment
- Radio, television and other communications equipment and systems
- Circuitry components
- Analog and digital computers
- Control and test equipment
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access.
Qualifications
Associate Engineer Electronics (T01)
A candidate must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027
- Majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar STEM degree
Engineer Electronics (T02)
A candidate must meet one of the following education/experience criteria:
- Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027, or
- Has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and has 2 years of related experience by August 2027
All candidates must be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar STEM degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
- Previous internship, co-op, or other work experience
- Leadership and teamwork capabilities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Participation in professional, community, or extracurricular activities
Pay
Associate Engineer Electronics: $76,200.00 – $114,400.00
Engineer Electronics: $91,800.00 – $137,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline. Base salary offers consider the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
