About the role

The 2027 Canada Games Host Society is seeking an Assistant, Media Production to support the team in creating an unforgettable experience for athletes and visitors during the Games.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team with technical and administrative tasks related to the production and broadcast of the Games;
  • Participate in the planning, setup, configuration, and technical operation of the Main Broadcast Center;
  • Support the management of the Games’ broadcast-related web pages and mobile app;
  • Support the coordinator in the scheduling, validation, and management of SRT stream keys as well as the Vimeo hosting platform;
  • Collaborate on technical site surveys at the various competition venues and ensure the necessary follow-up;
  • Support the management of ad hoc requests and contribute to resolving issues in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • College diploma in film and television production, electronics technology: audiovisual, or any other relevant field;
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role or any equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Proficiency with computer tools (Google Workspace);
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
  • Basic knowledge of network broadcasting protocols (SRT, RTMP) and streaming tools;
  • Strong command of French, both spoken and written;
  • English is an asset;
  • Authorization to work in Canada;
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check required.
