Operating as Lazard’s internal innovation engine, the group identifies opportunities to improve business processes through technology and develops solutions from end to end—from concept development and design through deployment, performance analysis, and continuous iteration. Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test, and deploy AI‑driven applications and data products that leverage machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
• Work with meaningful agency throughout the product‑development cycle, interacting directly with senior investment bankers in Financial Advisory and portfolio managers in Asset Management for rapid feedback loops.

Requirements

• Ability to start internship June 7, 2027 and end August 13, 2027.
• Ability to be in NYC for the duration of the internship.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor or advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with object‑oriented or functional programming.
• Familiarity with large language model (LLM) frameworks.
• Interest in (and ideally exposure to) agentic workflows, autonomous AI systems, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) agent development.
