Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact between the Video Publication team, US Open staff, and external technology partners
  • Maintain frequent, clear communication with a team of 4–5 video publishers to manage workloads, schedules, and priorities
  • Cook up daily publishing schedules and adjust coverage in real time based on match flow, breaking moments, and operational needs
  • Work closely with technology partners including: WSC, Anyclip, Vita / Google, UsOpen.org Photography Team, IBM
  • Develop a working understanding of partner software tools and workflows to: troubleshoot issues, answer real-time support questions, escalate problems efficiently when needed, provide hands-on support by assisting directly with video publishing tasks when volume spikes or delays occur, track operational issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize disruption to publishing output
  • Schedule & Duration: Temporary role covering the US Open tournament period, approximately 3 consecutive weeks, including weekends
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment across teams throughout each match day
  • Support overall workflow efficiency during live match days, including weekends
  • Primarily a night position starting approximately at 5pm till the close of matches daily

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage frequent, fast-paced coordination across multiple teams
  • Comfort working in a live production or real-time publishing environment
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software tools and workflows
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach and assist with execution when needed
  • Calm and effective under pressure during high-volume, time-sensitive situations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting live sports, media production, or digital publishing operations
  • Familiarity with video publishing platforms, CMS tools, or content workflows
  • Experience coordinating between internal teams and external technology vendors
