Responsibilities
- Cleaning floors, furniture, chalkboards and erasers, drinking fountains, toilets, urinals, showers, walls, light fixtures, windows, and glass areas.
- Operating power-driven floor sweepers, scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and waxing machines.
- Rearranging furniture to be able to clean areas thoroughly.
- Removing trash from buildings, caring for school property adjacent to buildings, and sweeping walkways.
Requirements
- On the job training will be provided.
- The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs., reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and walk extensively.
- Applicants must be 14 years old.
Qualifications
This position does not require formal education beyond high school. On-the-job training will be provided.
