2026 Supply Chain Management Internship (Kill Devil Hills)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain Central Distribution inventory.
• Process, inventory, tag, and distribute product to correct store location.
• Inventories and restock as needed.
• Fills order for supplies/equipment and delivers supplies/equipment as needed.
• Receives purchases and verifies proper products received with the purchase order.
• Pulls product to distribute to stores.
• Affords assistance in researching problem orders (i.e., back orders, incorrect shipments, product substitutions, product recalls, returns, and stock level adjustments).
• Maintains storage areas.
• Sorts, distributes, and processes both incoming and outgoing packages/mail.
• Utilizes Inventory System to order supplies and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Other projects as assigned

Education, & Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Can work a minimum of 12 weeks

• Ability to lift and carry loads frequently
• Ability to work without constant supervision

Working Conditions

• The work environment for this position is generally an indoor warehouse/office.
• May be requested to work overtime and weekends during the company’s in-season time period. Expect to work Saturdays as needed.
• May be requested to drive company vehicle to other locations.
• May be requested to work holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 to 100 pounds.
• The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
