WSTM/CW6/WTVH-TV has a great opportunity for you! We are looking for interns for our News Department for the Summer.
About the role
Qualified candidates should be pursuing a degree and career interests in journalism, news, communications, or a related field. We are seeking highly motivated, dedicated students who are eager to gain hands-on experience and make the most of their internship experience. This internship is designed to provide educational training and professional development opportunities in a newsroom environment.
Requirements
- Must be attending an accredited college or university and studying mass communications, journalism, or related major
- Must work 10-20 hours a week; including some weekends
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must receive academic credit for the internship experience
- Must be registered for college at his or her institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed
- Must have reliable transportation
This is an unpaid internship intended for educational and professional development purposes. Interns will not receive wages or employee benefits. Credit verification forms will be provided.
