2026 Portfolio Strategy Investment Associate

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analyzing portfolio and market performance and attribution
• Researching, interpreting, and preparing portfolio and market analytics
• Maintaining databases on portfolio and market data
• Building and maintaining quantitative, financial, and macroeconomic models and tools
• Crafting and updating presentation materials for internal and client meetings
• Supporting portfolio managers on various investment research and client-related projects
• Collaborating with other Associates and providing back-up when needed

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience at an asset management, investment bank, or management consulting firm
• An excellent academic record with coursework in Finance, Accounting, and Statistics
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong quantitative skills, including data analysis, statistics, and visualization
• Strong digital literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and FactSet
• Familiarity with Tableau
• Experience with a data science programming language (Python, R, MatLab, etc.)
• Demonstrated curiosity about financial markets, investment management, and value investing

Pay

The salary range for this position is $155k - $180k. The listed pay scale denotes only the pay range of the base salary and does not include discretionary bonus compensation, which may make up an important portion of the total remuneration.
