About the role
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking Maintenance Training Cooperative graduates to fill positions in various maintenance departments. The ideal candidate must be actively pursuing a career and technical education certificate and/or associate degree at Great Basin College, demonstrating progress toward successful program completion and graduation.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the maintenance and repair of mining equipment and systems.
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Participate in safety training and foster a Zero Harm safety culture.
- Be available to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing a career and technical education certificate and/or associate degree at Great Basin College.
- Demonstrated progress toward successful program completion and graduation from GBC with a certificate and/or associate degree.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
- Commitment to fostering a Zero Harm safety culture.
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
