About the role
We offer a paid internship that provides hands-on professional experience contributing to future technologies impacting daily life, with a focus on safety and sustainability. This opportunity is ideal for students in materials science, metallurgical, mining, chemical, civil, optical, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, business, finance, accounting, communications, computer science/IT, semiconductor, geology, and related fields. We seek individuals who are curious, creative problem solvers, willing to learn from diverse backgrounds, and meet ITAR requirements.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects focusing on process engineering, quality improvement, environmental health and safety, manufacturing operations, sales and marketing, research and development, finance, procurement, supply chain, communications, marketing, information technology, human resources, legal, and semiconductor areas.
- Participate in group business challenges and executive luncheons.
- Attend coffee chat professional series and receive mentorship.
- Receive competitive hourly wage, travel expenses, summer living stipend, and opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Junior or higher enrolled in relevant engineering or business coursework.
- Curious and creative problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn from people of all ages and backgrounds.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status required due to ITAR requirements.

Pay
Pay range: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour. Actual base salary offered varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
