About the Role
The Fundraising Support Analyst plays a critical role in the 20+ person Fundraising & Investor Relations team based in New York. This position involves supporting team members across all fund families, conducting research to identify potential Limited Partners (LPs), and assisting with outreach initiatives. The Analyst collaborates in planning roadshows, conferences, and events, maintains LP data within CRM systems, and gathers LP intelligence to inform fundraising strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support assigned team members in specific coverage areas across all fund families, ensuring a clear view of current and future engagement opportunities.
- Conduct thorough research and prospecting to identify and qualify potential LPs.
- Support the creation and ongoing management of target lists and pipelines, tracking interactions and engagement.
- Aid in outreach initiatives to engage new and existing LPs.
- Collaborate in the logistical planning of roadshows, conferences, and events.
- Regularly update and maintain LP data within the firm’s CRM system (DealCloud), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
- Gather LP intelligence and undertake research projects to inform fundraise strategies.
- Afford assistance in organizing and managing LP meetings, events, and conferences, including on-site due diligence meetings, webinars, and informal gatherings, ensuring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience supporting capital raising and relationship management in private markets.
- Investment banking or asset management experience is preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and third-party private markets databases.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Series 7 / Series 63 Licenses preferred but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact with a range of stakeholders.
- Drive to win as part of a team and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively well as independently.
