Join the elite ranks of Screamium Spirit Guides—the ultimate hosts of our exclusive Halloween tour experience! As a Spirit Guide, you’ll lead guests through spine-tingling attractions, share behind-the-scenes secrets, and deliver unforgettable moments that guests will rave about for years. This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to become part of the lore.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Star of the Tour: Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm, build connections, and set the tone for a night of thrills.
  • Tell the Tales: Share captivating stories, attraction lore, and insider secrets using your Big Book of Secrets.
  • Lead the Way: Navigate the park with confidence, keeping your group safe, informed, and entertained.
  • Adapt Like a Pro: Handle unexpected changes (like attraction closures) with grace and quick thinking.
  • Create Magic: Deliver scenes that spark curiosity, deepen fandom, and elevate the Halloween experience.

Tour Experience

  • Tours last 90 minutes to several hours depending on the park.
  • Groups are small (max 10 guests) for a personalized experience.
  • Stop at scenic points to deliver lore-rich presentations before each attraction.
  • Guests have the opportunity to go to the front of the lines and enter attractions with VIP ease.
  • Wrap up the night with heartfelt thanks and send guests off with memories they’ll never forget.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Keep your cool when guiding guests; professionalism is key.
  • Prior experience in guest-facing roles—especially in theme parks or high-end hospitality—is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Quick thinking, sharp instincts, and a keen eye for detail will help you navigate the unexpected.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late nights.
  • Able to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, ascend to heights, and safely lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Be reliably present and punctual.

Skills

  • Natural storyteller with a flair for performance.
  • Love Halloween and theme parks—and it shows!
  • Friendly, approachable, and great at reading a room.
  • Stay cool under pressure and think fast on your feet.
  • Know (or are eager to learn) the ins and outs of park operations.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

Seasonal, evening and weekend shifts.
