Training Details
This is an accelerated four to six month program, working with an intact team of four total trainees with one instructor/lead man.
Program Content
- Builds technical confidence through a comprehensive program of academic and hands-on training.
- Gains a solid understanding of the fundamentals of how things work, processes and procedures and safety requirements.
- A comprehensive tool set/tool box will be provided for use during the apprenticeship.
Post-Program Benefits
Upon successful completion of the program, and two additional years of employment as a technician, the tools and tool box become yours!
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet Yancey employment requirements
Requirements
- All mechanical testing, background checks, driving record checks and drug screening will be conducted.
