This position is located at our Defense Systems Sector in Elkton, MD, within the Propulsion Systems & Control Business Unit of the Weapon Systems Division.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deliver a monthly Integrated Master Plan and Schedule (IMP/IMS) from inception through project completion, ensuring alignment with IMS objectives.
- Integrate Work Breakdown Structures, Statements of Work, deliverables, and resources into the master schedule efficiently and on time.
- Support management of the program’s supplier base and internal functional disciplines through the IMS, providing daily monitoring and status updates to the Project Manager for critical-path tasks.
- Input Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data and generate required financial control reports, prepare monthly operational review packages, and assist in reporting division performance to executive management.
- Investigate deviations from the plan or unusual results, and actively participate in, lead, and support schedule reviews and metric reporting as requested by management.
Requirements
- Be completing or have completed a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution by August 2026.
- Majoring in or have majored in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required).
- Experience or coursework in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Experience or coursework in Microsoft Project or Open Plan.
- Experience or coursework in data analytics.
- Experience or coursework in data entry.
Pay
- Level 1: $60,200 - $90,200
- Level 2: $72,400 - $108,600
