About The Position
This posting is not for a specific position within the Edmonds School District. Your application will be placed into an applicant pool for Speech Language Pathologists. When positions arise, the Hiring Administrator may fill them from this pool or advertise individual positions. SLP Pool applicants should also apply for individual postings.
Edmonds School District Speech-Language Pathologists provide support for students with speech, language, and hearing concerns (ages 3 to 21 years). Services are delivered in various formats, including individual sessions, small group interventions, in-class support, consultations with teachers, problem-solving teams, and disability evaluation teams.
Required Qualifications
- A Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certificate as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a Washington State Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist License.

Pay
Salary 2025-26 Salary Schedule Range: $83,305 through $148,226 (2026-27 Salary Schedule not yet finalized).
Placement on this salary schedule is determined by FTE and official documentation verifying Educational Level and Certificated Work Experience, with proration for less than a full year and/or FTE.

Physical Requirements/Demands
- Navigating various school and classroom environments
- Assisting students who need physical support or exhibit challenging behaviors
- Communicating with others regularly
- Frequent manual work using hands or fingers
- Occasional reaching, bending, or twisting
- Moving objects regularly weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Visual requirements include performing close-range tasks and adjusting focus as necessary
