What You'll Do

  • Provide Comprehensive Student Support:
    • Deliver individual and group counseling addressing academic, personal, and social concerns
    • Conduct assessments to identify student strengths, challenges, and barriers to success
    • Create personalized support plans that foster healthy development and emotional well-being
    • Aid in crisis intervention and emergency response for students facing challenging situations
    • Maintain accurate, confidential records ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
    • Support students in navigating academic pathways and goal-setting
    • Provide guidance on post-secondary education and career exploration opportunities
    • Collaborate with teachers and families to develop effective intervention strategies
    • Help students build resilience, self-advocacy, and decision-making skills
    • Implement programs and workshops promoting positive mental health and conflict resolution
    • Lead bullying prevention initiatives and social-emotional learning programs
    • Collaborate with leadership to create safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments
    • Stay current with counseling best practices and mental health trends
    • Work within multidisciplinary teams to address comprehensive student needs
