2026-27 Probationary School Registered Nurse

About the role

Rush-Henrietta is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position as a school nurse. The school nurse will be responsible for the provision and coordination of school health services for students and staff at the school building.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining student health and immunization records
• Conducting various medical screenings
• Working with the building team to address health-related needs that impact learning
• Supervising the health office staff

Qualifications

Required:

• Holds a Bachelor's Degree or higher in the field of nursing
• Holds current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
• Has experience in the area of pediatric and/or school nursing
• Possess professional role-modeling, communication, cultural competence, and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of school nursing procedures and services, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred:

• Holds New York State teaching certification as a School Nurse Teacher

Pay

Highly competitive, based on experience and earned graduate credits, per the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
