2026-27 Probationary School Registered Nurse

About the role

Full-time, tenure-track school nurse position responsible for the provision and coordination of school health services for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining student health and immunization records
• Conducting various medical screenings
• Working with the building team to address health-related needs that impact learning
• Supervising the health office staff

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing; current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license; experience in pediatric and/or school nursing; professional role‑modeling, communication, cultural competence, and interpersonal skills; strong knowledge of school nursing procedures and services; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred: New York State teaching certification as a School Nurse Teacher.

Pay

Highly competitive salary, based on experience and earned graduate credits, per the Rush‑Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
