2026-27 Probationary English and Language Arts
Seeking highly qualified candidates for full-time, tenure-track teaching positions in our ELA department.
About the role
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the English curriculum and the developmental needs of adolescent students. They will utilize a variety of instructional methods and culturally responsive practices to engage learners of all ability levels, support and strengthen students' reading, thinking, and writing skills, assess student progress on an ongoing basis, and integrate instructional technology.
Requirements
- New York State Teaching Certification in English 7-12
- Effective September 1, 2026, or later if necessary
- Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27, if available due to time of year
Pay
Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
