Summary

Responsible for implementing an articulated MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) framework at the school level by working collaboratively with building and district staff to promote a system of supports to improve academic, behavioral, and social emotional growth for all students.

Job Tasks

  • Initiate collaboration within and among school teams and departments, including classified staff.
  • Collaborate regularly with school leadership team to sustain effective and efficient MTSS efforts.
  • Assess progress of implementation efforts and assist with resource mapping for systemic change.
  • Provide training and guidance for school staff as related to the MTSS framework.
  • Facilitate team based collaborative problem-solving processes.
  • Attend ongoing MTSS professional development and coordinator meetings.
  • Collect, analyze and summarize student and school data from multiple sources to inform decisions, and interact effectively with data systems (ie: Enrich, Synergy).
  • Communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with students, staff, and families.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to:
    • Understand, appreciate, and make accommodations for student diversity.
    • Include and engage families in the student's education.
    • Support all Poudre School District policies, procedures, and expectations.
    • Provide personal and professional excellence.
  • Participate in:
    • Department, team, building, and district meetings and discussions.
    • Social, cultural, interscholastic, and extracurricular activities.

Education, Experience, and Licenses Required

  • Bachelor's degree with proper teaching licensure program required.
  • Experience instructing students in a classroom setting required.
  • Leadership at school or district level preferred.
  • Criminal background check required for hire.
  • Valid Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.

Pay

Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $58,000 - $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 6th, 2025).
