About the role

The Anthropology Department in the College of Behavioral and Social Science is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year. We seek to fill Anthropology courses level 100 through 400 and internships in our four subfields: Archaeology, Biological, Cultural and Museum Studies.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in at least one of the subfields
  • Supervise internships
  • Maintain office hours
  • Uphold campus academic policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Master of Arts or Science in Anthropology or a related field
  • Appropriate expertise and experience teaching for assigned courses
  • Prior experience in teaching and working with colleagues from diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural and academic backgrounds

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Anthropology or degree in closely related field to courses interested in teaching

Pay

Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $5,507 – $6,677 per month
Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,221 – $13,224 per month
Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,825 – $14,523 per month
Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $8,593 – $15,211 per month
