About the role

The English Teacher at Churchill County High School is responsible for providing instruction to students, including preparation, assessment, and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback.
• Manage classroom effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and support student success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Qualify for a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Nevada teaching license.

Pay

$46,049 minimum - $92,806 maximum depending on experience and education, scheduled 183 days per year. Additional pay: SB500 funds will be added for the 26-27 school year.
