Job Description

Instructs and assesses students in accordance with Oklahoma standards.

  • Develops and modifies unit and lesson plans based on scholar needs and assessment data.
  • Uses feedback constructively to improve instructional methods.
  • Collaborates with teams to enhance academic and cultural support.
  • Maintains relationships with scholars and families, focusing on trust and respect.
  • Participates in school functions and attends relevant events.
  • Creates individualized learning plans and communicates them to families.
  • Maintains professional obligations, including meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English from an accredited college/university
  • Master’s degree in English, preferred
  • Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate with required certification for subject and level assigned
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core subject area assigned
  • Satisfactory background check results
