2026-2027 Volunteer Application - Compliance and Legal Services

About the role

Volunteer positions are available in Jordan School District schools. All volunteers who have "significant unsupervised access" to children, as determined by the school principal, must complete specific requirements before they begin volunteering.

Requirements

• Complete the Volunteer Application (a new application must be completed annually)
• Schedule an appointment – once the principal has reviewed your application, the school will determine if you need to schedule the fingerprint/background check (at no cost)
• Bring a state-issued ID to the Human Resource Department for your scheduled appointment
• Complete the "Code of Conduct" training and sign an acknowledgement form before visiting HR to complete the background check (as required by the Utah Legislature in 2019)
