Requirements / Qualifications
- Credential Options:
- Multiple Subject credential (with substantiated experience and skills in the identified VAPA areas or supplemental authorization to teach related VAPA classes and English Learner Authorization)
- Single Subject Visual Art credential
- Single Subject Music credential
- Single Subject Industrial and Technology Education credential
- Single Subject Dance credential
- Single Subject Theater credential
- Single Subject Media Arts, along with authorization to teach English learners
- Experience and Expertise:
- Strong emphasis in cultural and world music, including Mariachi, Bollywood, Japanese drumming (Taiko), and Chinese music traditions
- Experience in digital and/or media arts
