2026 - 2027 School Year - 1st Grade Teacher

About the role

Crestview Elementary School is seeking a certified 1st grade teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement effective lessons aligned with state standards.
• Instruct students in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Evaluate student progress through ongoing assessments and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum improvements.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Current teaching certification in Elementary K-5.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• At least one year of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Qualifications

• Experience with differentiated instruction.
• Knowledge of current educational technology tools and resources.
• Passport to Excellence (PTE) certification preferred.

Skills

• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Effective time management and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

The schedule is flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the school and the teacher's qualifications.
