2026-2027 Robotics Teacher- Spring Mountain J/SHS

About the role

The Robotics Teacher position at our school serves a population of approximately 100 boys aged 12-18 at a juvenile youth camp on Mount Charleston. Hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:59 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Teach robotics courses to students
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state standards
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• At least one year of teaching experience
• Experience with robotics and technology integration
• Ability to work with adolescents and handle challenging behaviors

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with young people
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively
• Knowledge of relevant educational technologies

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
