Position: Related Services Lead
About the role
The Role is responsible for leading related services teams within the Office of Academics - Special Services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of related services to students with disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate student progress and adjust service delivery plans accordingly
- Provide professional development opportunities for related service providers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of related services provided
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field preferred
- Experience in a school setting preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
