Requirements

• Letter of Interest
• Resume
• Copy of official transcripts verifying an Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college (official transcripts required within 2 weeks of hire date); OR
• Copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher. Applicants interested in taking the Paraprofessional Praxis exam can visit Berkeley County School District for additional information.
• Negative TB test results under 1 year old. If the test has not been completed, a word document acknowledging that results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed must be provided. Delay in submitting TB test results will postpone the onboarding process.

Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2 with a registration cost of $75 due at the time of the test.
