Leadership Development Academy

The Leadership Development Academy is designed for current PfISD leaders seeking continuous learning and professional growth. Participation is an opportunity to receive intensive leadership training grounded in Brene Brown's book, Dare to Lead, and to explore emotional intelligence skills as a leader.

• Critical emotional intelligence skills for building relationships and teams, resolving conflict, solving problems, leading effectively, and building resilience.

Audience

All staff in a leadership or supervisory role. (Principals, Assistant Principals, Executive Directors, Directors, Assistant Directors, Coordinators, Specialists, teacher leaders or any District Level Leaders in roles of influence.)

Criteria

• Passion for continuing your development as a leader.
• Currently serving PfISD in a leadership role.
• The support of your supervisor.

• Sep 14, 2026: Dare to Lead Session 1
• Oct 5, 2026: Dare to Lead Session 2
• Nov 2, 2026: Dare to Lead Session 3
• Nov 30, 2026: Dare to Lead Session 4
• TBD Jan 2027: Virtual EQI Introduction
• Jan 24, 2027: Optional EQI Coaching
• Jan 25, 2027: EQI Training & Action Planning
• Feb 16, 2027: Task Saturation & Policy
• Mar 29, 2027: Participant Presentations - Leadership Capacity Growth & Learning Assignment
