Primary location: Perkins, Claude Elementary School – North Las Vegas, NV.

About the role

Elementary School Teacher responsible for delivering instruction in core academic subjects to students in grades K–5.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver daily lessons aligned with Nevada Academic Content Standards.
• Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations; maintain accurate records.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and administrators to support student success.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designee.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada teaching license with an elementary endorsement (K–8 or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all district hiring requirements.
