Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with Nevada Academic Content Standards.
• Plan, prepare, and implement engaging lessons for elementary students.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.

Requirements

• An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess or be able to acquire by time of appointment a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
• Must be certified in the relevant subject area.
• Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as listed on the position vacancy announcement.
