About the role
The Federal Work Study Program is designed to provide financial aid resources through part-time employment for students having documented financial need for assistance in meeting their educational expenses. The program must be a supplement to existing aid for students, thereby increasing part-time job opportunities throughout the campus. With a strong emphasis on total student development, the Division of Student Affairs strives to prepare each student for a productive, ethical and meaningful life after college, while fostering an inclusive campus community in support of the educational mission of the university. We create, direct, and support the environments and programs that complement classroom learning — the places where students learn how to live full, productive lives. Our departments include Campus Recreation and Department of Student Experience, Engagement and Leadership.
Responsibilities
- Campus Recreation/Intramural Sports (Contact: Noah Mass/Jarmel Baxter, Nmass@uncfsu.edu/Jbaxter@uncfsu.edu, 910-672-2877/ 910-672-2876): Facility Monitor, Referee, Lifeguarding.
- Department of Student Experience, Engagement, and Leadership (Contact: Naadiya Hopkins, nhopkins@uncfsu.edu, 910-672-1018): Provide administrative and customer service support; assist students and visitors; prepare program materials; support event setup and breakdown; track attendance; assist with student activities, leadership programs, and special projects.

Qualifications
To be eligible for Federal Work Study positions, students must qualify and receive an award from the FSU Financial Aid Office. Additional requirements may be established by the hiring department based on the specific needs of the position.
Pay
$13.00 per hour
