About the role

The Secondary English Teacher will teach English Language Arts to students in grades 6-12. The teacher will also mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Teach English Language Arts to students in grades 6-12
• Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching license in the state of Nevada
• At least two years of teaching experience in secondary education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Ability to effectively manage classroom and student behavior
• Passion for teaching English Language Arts

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
