About the role

The Department of Psychology, Philosophy, and Neuroscience at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Philosophy program.

Job Functions

  • Teaches assigned philosophy courses
  • Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
  • Produces effective course materials
  • Achieves student learning outcomes
  • Holds open office hours for students

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in philosophy or a closely related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in philosophy, Significant teaching experience

Additional Information

Work Schedule: Variable

Salary And Benefits: $5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible.
