Summary
The Department of Dance at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for part‑time adjunct faculty openings.
Responsibilities
- Teach dance studio or lecture courses as assigned by the chair.
- Engage in experiential and hands‑on education when appropriate.
- Produce effective course materials.
- Achieve student learning outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in dance or a related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Fine Arts or Doctorate in dance or a related field from an accredited or internationally recognized institution.
- Significant teaching experience.
Schedule
Variable work schedule.
Pay
$5,500 stipend per 3‑credit course or 3‑credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible.
