About the role

Description Rush-Henrietta seeks an experienced inclusive educator to be responsible for interventions to support the academic, behavioral and social development of students throughout the district.

Responsibilities

• Crisis intervention
• Culturally responsive practices
• Developing and monitoring behavioral assessments, behavioral analysis, and intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, school teams and families
• Provide consultation and professional development to teachers and paraprofessionals to support students’ social, academic and behavioral growth
• Collaboration on out-of-district placements

Qualifications

• New York State Certification as a School Psychologist, Special Education Teacher, or Speech Language Teacher is required.
• Certification (or eligibility) as a Licensed or Certified Behavior Analyst is preferred.
• Candidates with a Licensed or Certified Behavior Analyst who are currently working toward a NYS certification will also be considered.
