About the role

Description Rush-Henrietta is seeking reliable and conscientious daily substitute teachers for both the elementary and secondary levels. Work as a substitute teacher in a variety of school buildings; implement daily lesson plans with fidelity; develop a rapport with students that fosters academic engagement and appropriate behavior in a culturally responsive manner.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culturally responsive learning environment
  • Teach a variety of subjects including Elementary Education, Secondary Math and Science, Special Education (K-12), Art, Music, Physical Education, Technology, and World Languages

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or completion of student teaching is preferred but applicants with bachelor's credits earned will be considered with an interview with the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources.
  • Teaching experience and/or certification is preferred but not required.
