What You Will Be Doing
- Design, modify, test, and deploy C# and ASP.NET applications;
- Create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support manufacturing systems;
- Configure and maintain servers, VMs, workstations, and lineside IT equipment;
- Use tools like SNMP, What’s Up Gold, vRealize, and VNC to monitor system health and performance;
- Analyze system logs, debug source code, and create incident reports to resolve production-impacting issues;
- Serve as an escalation point for MES Technicians;
- Work closely with production engineers, managers, and stakeholders;
- Aid users with manufacturing IT, quality data, and robot status and communication;
- Train and support MES Technicians;
- Ensure high availability of systems through clustering, replication, backups, and patching;
- Coordinate with network, security, infrastructure, and database teams to maintain proper configurations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 4+ years of hands-on development using C#, WinForms, ASP.NET, HTML5, AJAX, IIS, Windows Server, SQL, and Visual Studio;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in building and maintaining web and desktop applications;
- Comfortable in customer-facing roles, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide technical support;
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation and collaboration across teams;
- The ability to plan and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in system administration and working within MES or manufacturing environments;
- Familiarity with key software and technologies such as SCADA, Oracle, PL/SQL, PLC, Android, Linux, VMware, Active Directory, MES, and PGL;
- Understanding of industrial control systems and manufacturing-related IT infrastructure, including integration with production equipment and software platforms;
- Passion for emerging technologies and encouragement of creative thinking to drive transformation in the automotive industry.
