2-Year-Old Assistant Teacher

About the Role

The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers for our 2 year-old program at our Murray Hill location. We are looking for kind, compassionate, reliable, and professional individuals who want to work for a prestigious school and are seeking a fun, appreciative workplace. Our brand new, state-of-the-art preschool facility features:

• 13 classrooms
• All classrooms equipped with phones, Apple iPads, and Bluetooth speakers
• Fully stocked supplies room including arts & crafts
• On-site indoor gym and private outdoor play spaces in StuyTown
• Face recognition for school entry

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
