Internship Description

As an intern, you will work closely with a postdoctoral researcher and a PhD student, assisting with both fieldwork and laboratory tasks.

• Making measurements of greenhouse gas fluxes using automated chambers and online analyzers
• Maintaining an eddy covariance tower
• Collecting water samples
• Processing insect samples

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in ecology or environmental sciences
• Preference will be given to students studying ecology, botany, wildlife, environmental science, natural resources, soil science, or closely related fields
• Excellent English communication skills
• Valid manual driving license
• Able to conduct frequent fieldwork, sometimes under adverse weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently when required
