(2.0 FTE) 26-27 STEAM Club Sponsor

About the Role

The STEAM Club Sponsors are responsible for recruiting 4th and 5th grade students interested in being in STEAM Club and helping them prepare for STEAM Day in May.

Responsibilities

• Plan meeting dates and times for the club
• Communicate with students and their parents regarding club expectations
• Explain the STEAM project expectations to students
• Facilitate students as they explore a topic of interest in the area of science, technology, engineering, art, and/or math
• Serve as a mentor and facilitator of learning
• Plan, organize, and coordinate STEAM Day in May 2026

Requirements

• Effective communication skills
• Effective organizational skills

Pay

$40/hour (up to 32 hours per person) in accordance with the NSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
