1st Shift Yard Jockey

About the role

I Supply is seeking an immediate hire for a 1st Shift Yard Jockey position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations Management to move trailers smoothly between departments.
• Accurately assist Operations Management in achieving daily department goals.
• Understand, embrace, and encourage the fulfillment of I Supply’s Mission Statement with all associates.
• Check trailer temperatures and fuel levels on reefer units.
• Report any equipment issues immediately to the direct supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One to two years of CDL A driving experience is preferred.
• A valid Class “A” CDL is preferred.
• Comprehend math, spelling, and reading to maintain accurate records.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Physical strength and dexterity to connect hoses and inspect trailers.
• Daily exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
