1st Shift Welder A

About the Role

Responsible for maintaining key performance metrics such as safety, quality, and delivery. Will weld to AWS specifications, perform spot welding, and operate a variety of tools and equipment. Tools include prints, bills, ARI, and engineering/supervisor direction.

Responsibilities

• Operate weld equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Perform all position and types of welding, including certified welding.
• Report labor and job data accurately.
• Maintain quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Perform other jobs within the department or plant as required by supervision.

Working Conditions

• Regularly exposed to noise, odors, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, drafts, vibration, electricity, and heights.
• Requires the use of welders, hand tools, hoists, cranes, saws, air tools, grinders, die grinders, orbiters, drill presses, and roller press.
• Required safety gear includes hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes with metatarsal protection, face shield or goggles, welding helmet, and gloves.

Pay

$29.11 per hour
