1st Shift - Table Repair (Entry Level - Starting Pay $16)

About the Role

A successful candidate supports Metrolina teams by maintaining and repairing tables for the Labor team. This position supervises but does not directly manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Repair broken aluminum tables in the greenhouse
• Prep broken tables for repair
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable of common hand tools
• Ability to read and use measurements
• Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language
• Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding experience is a plus
• Forklift experience

Work Setting & Physical Demands

This position is primarily outdoors but may require working between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may include the use of computers and standard office equipment.

• Long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis
• Ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility
