Position Summary
The Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized pharmacy focused on processing and dispensing prescriptions for multiple retail locations within a region. As a Full-time 1st Shift Shipping and Receiving associate, you will manage sorter operations, move and lift merchandise, and ensure accurate packaging and shipping of pharmacy products.
What you'll do...
- Maintains sorter operation by removing full totes, replenishing empty totes, scanning totes and locations, and rearranging units.
- Moves, lifts, and carries merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Manages product deliveries by preparing, reviewing, and verifying receiving documentation; processing, counting, and scanning product; and organizing inventory.
- Maintains quality and integrity of inventory and packages by removing damaged or expired items, identifying discrepancies, and reporting issues.
- Completes work assignments by following policies, collaborating with team members, and ensuring accurate packing and shipping of prescriptions.
- Packaging and processing shipments by packing prescriptions, labeling them, and completing paperwork for pickup and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year experience in shipping and receiving
- 1 year experience in inventory control
