About the role

The position involves operating, changing over, adjusting, troubleshooting, and cleaning machines and equipment as needed, ensuring proper flow of product to meet service level goals. Responsibilities also include maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to quality standards, filling out documentation, handling scrap, rework, and mixed product, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principles
  • Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI
  • Properly fill out all documentation and labels
  • Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gages
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling 5 to 25 pounds
  • Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
  • Flexibility to work overtime
