About the Role

Allegiance Security is seeking two dependable and professional Security Officers for Spartanburg School District 6. These positions are specifically assigned to student restroom monitoring during the school day. This is strictly an Observe and Report position—Security Officers are not responsible for disciplining students or physically intervening in student-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned student restrooms throughout the school day.
• Help prevent students from loitering or congregating in restrooms between classes.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence in assigned restroom areas.
• Observe and report any inappropriate, suspicious, or unauthorized activity.
• Immediately notify designated school staff of any issues using a two-way radio.
• Complete incident or activity reports as required.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 0730–1530 hrs. (7:30 AM–3:30 PM) while school is in session.
• Follows the Spartanburg School District 6 school and holiday calendar.
• No work on holidays, breaks, teacher workdays, or other scheduled closures unless otherwise directed.
• Hours vary based on the District's school calendar, early dismissals, and schedule changes.

Pay

$16.00 per hour. Paid for actual hours worked—this is not a guaranteed 40-hour-per-week, year-round position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Guard License.
