About the role

The Replenishment Specialist restocks primary pick bins with overstock inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse equipment, including stand-up reach trucks. This role ensures the accuracy of inventory data within internal systems by comparing system records to physical inventory, identifying discrepancies, trends, and process issues. Specialists are trained to multitask, adapt to changing business needs, and maintain a positive workplace culture while meeting performance expectations. The position reports directly to the Assistant Inventory Manager and Inventory Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a minimum of 10 replenishments per hour
  • Maintain a "clean as you go" mentality, removing trash and empty skids from bins
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies with respective inventory team members
  • Run various reports to identify potential systematic issues with inventory, investigate, and resolve problems
  • Search for inaccuracies and errors, such as misplaced stock, during scheduled weekly cycle counts
  • Complete inventory adjustments based on differences in physical counts and research using the company’s ERP system
  • Use forklift equipment to replenish pick bins with overstock product
  • Identify and process damaged inventory throughout the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Ensure misplaced or mistakenly picked items are returned to the correct bin location
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure a safe work environment
  • Pick, wrap, and kit items for repacking and transport completed product for put-away
  • Meet performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards
  • Work closely with team members and leadership to meet departmental goals
  • Abide by all company and warehouse policies
  • Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary

Requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day
  • Requires effective communication using speech, vision, and hearing
  • Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; shipping, receiving, and/or inventory experience preferred

Education

This role does not require a degree. Relevant skills, experience, and alignment with core values are prioritized.

Working Environment

The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may include exposure to temperature and humidity changes, dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level is usually moderate, with average employee traffic in the work area.

Pay

Starting wage is $20.00/hr with potential raises of up to $0.88 every 6 months.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
